Bachelor of Computing and Bachelor of Information Systems (73B)

Course Structure

The combined degree requirements consist of:

A major in each degree component of 8 units: 2 introductory, 2 intermediate and 4 advanced units
A minor in each degree component of 4 units: 2 introductory, 2 intermediate level units
Degree electives: 4 units in each degree component, 2 in each degree at introductory level and 2 in each degree at intermediate or advanced level.

Bachelor of Computing

In the Bachelor of Computing component, you may choose from one of the majors, which have linked minors and degree electives. Select 'Degree combinations' below for each major and its linked minor and degree electives.

Bachelor of Information Systems

In the Bachelor of Information Systems component, you enrol in the major, the minor, and choose your degree electives.

Note: KXX units are common to both the Bachelor of Computing and the Bachelor of Information Systems degrees. If taking the combined degree you will therefore need to substitute Computing and/or Information Systems units at the same level where duplication occurs. These substitutions will need the approval of the relevant Degree Coordinator.
