Awarded annually to undergraduate medical, paramedic and medical research students with the most meritorious honours proposal and likelihood of success. Students will be eligible for the award provided they have not been awarded any scholarships, prizes or bursaries by UTAS for their honours year.

Tasmanian Wine Show Society Honours Scholarship

Available to a student eligible to undertake honours-level study in agricultural science with a thesis relevant to the wine industry.

Tasports West North-West Bursary

Available to a student from the north-west coast commencing a course in business at the Cradle Coast campus or in engineering at the Hobart campus.

Tassal Tasmania University Scholarship in Aquaculture

Available to a student who has completed the first year of an aquaculture course. Vacation work experience may also be available with Tassal.

Taxpayers Australia Inc. Scholarship

Available to a student undertaking a business degree (full-time or part-time) who intends to take the taxation unit BFA391 (normally taken in third year) and can demonstrate a strong interest in taxation.

The David McQuestin Memorial Foundation Scholarship

Available to a student at third year, honours or masters level in a journalism, media and communications course who demonstrates significant potential. A key component of the scholarship is an industry placement.

The Dean's Summer Research Scholarship

Students must have a Grade Point Average of 5.0 or more (credit average) to be eligible and must be about to enter the final year of their undergraduate degree or expecting to graduate in 2011 and are planning to enrol in Honours within the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology in 2012.

The Examiner Newspaper Northern Tasmania University Scholarship

Available to a student enrolling in the Bachelor of Exercise Science at the Launceston campus.

The Governor’s Environment Scholarship

Available to students undertaking an honours or masters project, in any faculty, which relates to management of the environment. Up to three awards are available.

Tim Hawkins Memorial Scholarship

Available to a UTAS law graduate, or current law undergraduate, who has completed an international law unit. The recipient must be available to take up the position in The Hague in mid-2012 for a period of six months.

Transend Networks Electrical Engineering Scholarship

Available to students commencing an engineering degree and wishing to become electrical engineers. Vacation work experience may be available.

Transend Networks Scholarship in Power Engineering

Available to a student entering the third year of the Bachelor of Engineering in 2013 and taking the electrical power engineering elective. Vacation work experience with Transend is also available.

TSO Scholarship in Orchestral Studies

Available to postgraduate students majoring in orchestral studies at the Tasmanian Conservatorium of Music. Eligible instruments change each year.
