Agricultural Science Scholarship

These scholarships are offered by the School of Agricultural Science. They are available to students who have performed well at school and who are enrolling for the first time at the University of Tasmania.

Alumni Annual Appeal Tasmania University Scholarship

This scholarship is provided by the Alumni of the University through the annual appeal to members and graduates of the University.

AMC - Australian Maritime College Scholarships

A variety of scholarships are available for study at the Australian Maritime College in Launceston.

Australian Croatian Social and Sporting Club of Launceston Scholarship

This scholarship is provided by funds made available by the Croatian Club committee when the club closed in 2004.

Ball and Chain Grill Tasmania University Scholarship

This scholarship is offered by the Ball and Chain Grill, one of Hobart's best-known restaurants.

BookEnd Environmental Scholarship

Up to three scholarships are provided by private individuals and professionals to promote positive and cooperative environmental solutions and to provide inspiration and encouragement to students throughout our education system.

Bruce Wall Estate Scholarship (Agriculture/Aquaculture)

Two scholarships are provided from the estate of the late Bruce Wall, which supports a number of Tasmanian youth projects.

Corporate Express Tasmania University Sports Scholarship

This scholarship is provided by Corporate Express, a national provider of office products and equipment.

Cynthia N Thun Scholarship in Music

The late Mrs Cynthia Thun, a former Tasmanian who lived most of her adult life in the United States, has endowed this award to support a talented music student.

DJ Motors Tasmania University Scholarship

This scholarship is provided by DJ Motors, a leading Tasmanian car retailer.

Dr Peter Smith Scholarship in the Physical Sciences

Up to four scholarships are provided by Dr Peter Smith to encourage students who intend to enrol in the Bachelor of Science degree and to study the physical sciences of chemistry, mathematics and physics in their first year at university - subjects often designated as the basic or enabling sciences.

Dr Vivian Barlow Tasmania University Scholarship in Medicine

This scholarship is provided from the estate of the late Dr Vivian Barlow, who spent the final years of his life in Tasmania and wished to assist medical students with the costs of accommodation.

Electrical Engineering Scholarship

Aurora Energy and Transend Networks, two of Tasmania's electrical power companies, will support two students entering UTAS and interested in an electrical engineering career.

Elizabeth Wade Tasmania University Scholarship in Music

This scholarship is provided from the estate of the late Elizabeth (Dora) Wade, who devoted her life to music education.

These scholarships are offered by the School of Engineering. They are available to students who have performed well at school and who are enrolling for the first time at the University of Tasmania.

Environmental Science Tasmania University Scholarship

This scholarship is provided by the School of Chemistry at UTAS.

Federation Scholarship in Law

The Federation Scholarships are available to law students to encourage study abroad. Up to 10 awards are available.

Gilbertson Family Scholarship

Up to two scholarships will be offered by the Gilbertson family to support students with a learning disability and who are commencing any undergraduate course.

Graeme Foster Tasmania University Football Club Scholarship

This scholarship is provided by the Tasmania University Football Club (TUFC) through the generosity of its past members and supporters.

Hilary and Alan Wallace Scholarship in Medicine

Drs Hilary and Alan Wallace are retired medical practitioners who have had a close association with Jane Franklin Hall (JFH). This scholarship supports a medical student from the north or north-west of Tasmania to reside at JFH.

Hobart City Council Don Kay Music Scholarship

This scholarship is provided by the Hobart City Council in recognition of the contribution made to the cultural life of the city by Mr Don Kay, who taught music at the Tasmanian Conservatorium for many years.

Hobart City Council Scholarship

Hobart City Council supports a number of awards for Hobart residents enrolling at UTAS.

John C Bowden Tasmania University Scholarship

This scholarship is provided by John C Bowden, an American businessman who has a number of business interests in his second home, Tasmania.

Kingborough Sub Branch RSLA Miss Cluny Portnell Memorial Scholarship

The Kingborough Sub Branch of the RSLA established this scholarship in 2006 to recognise the service of Miss Cluny Portnell to the Kingborough community.

Launceston Chamber of Commerce Scholarship

Launceston City Council Scholarship

This scholarship is offered by the Launceston City Council to residents of the Launceston municipality.

Neale Edwards Scholarship in Agricultural Science or Forestry

Newmont Geoscience Indigenous Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by Newmont Mining to encourage indigenous students to undertake the Bachelor of Science (Economic Geology) with Honours course.

Nick Martin Tasmania University Scholarship in Surveying and Spatial Sciences

This scholarship has been endowed by Mr Nick Martin, a successful business operator in the electronics industry.

North Eastern Art and Craft Association Scholarship

This scholarship is provided by the North Eastern Art and Craft Association to a student from the Dorset area.

North Hobart Football Club Peter Wells Scholarship

An endowment from the late Peter Wells, a life member, funds two scholarships to support North Hobart Football Club players or supporters while at UTAS.

Northern Florence Nightingale Bursary

The Northern Florence Nightingale Association has provided support for retired nurses for over 50 years.

Philip John Medhurst Scholarship in Engineering

This scholarship has been endowed by the late Thora Medhurst in memory of her husband who was a student at UTAS before joining the navy in World War II and continuing to a successful careeer as an electrical engineer.

Premier of Tasmania National Undergraduate Scholarship

The Government of Tasmania, in partnership with the University, will offer three prestigious awards, in which the Premier takes great interest.

Tasmanian Government Mineral Resources Tasmania Scholarship

Up to two scholarships are funded by Mineral Resources Tasmania. They were established to encourage students to undertake geology at the University of Tasmania.

The Examiner Newspaper Northern Tasmania University Scholarship

University Strings Scholarship
