Professor Newton Barber Honours Scholarship in Plant Science
Up to four scholarships are offered in memory of the late Professor Newton Barber, who was the first professor of botany at the University of Tasmania. Professor Barber set the current research strengths for the School of Plant Science in pea and eucalypt genetics.

Available to honours students in plant science.
Amount
$4,000. Interstate students may receive an additional relocation allowance.
