Harold Carroll Memorial Scholarship

Two scholarships are provided from a fund established by the late Harold Carroll, a retired grazier, to provide scholarships for deserving students educated in Devonport.

Eligibility

Available to commencing students educated in Devonport and enrolling at UTAS. The selection committee will be seeking students who: without the help of a scholarship might not be able to afford to go to university (particularly those who receive no other assistance such as Youth Allowance); are of good character and likely to be successful at university; have already contributed to the community, or are likely to contribute to the community of Devonport over the longer term. In your application you should ensure that you detail how you meet the criteria for the award.
