Graduate Research Scholarships

These scholarships are provided by the University of Tasmania. Scholarships are offered for a wide range of disciplines in which the University has major research programs.

Eligibility

Available to graduates with honours at a high standard (or an equivalent qualification) wishing to undertake a research masters degree or doctorate at the University of Tasmania.

Amount

A stipend equal to that for the Australian Postgraduate Award (currently $22,500 per year). A relocation allowance may also be included.

Duration

Up to two years for a research masters degree. Up to three years for a doctorate.
