Bullock Consulting Scholarship in Architecture

Bullock Consulting is an energetic Tasmanian-based consulting company which has grown into a multi-faceted team of professional architects, engineers and surveyors. Bullock Consulting now provides a wide range of consulting services, both in Tasmania and other states, and focuses on sustainable design and development. Its intention in sponsoring scholarships at UTAS is to assist in the education of the next generation of Tasmanian engineers and architects.

Eligibility

The scholarship will support a student with good academic achievement either entering or in the second year of the Master of Architecture course. In addition, the scholarship provides for 12 weeks paid work experience per year which will allow the successful student to develop those additional skills gained from working as part of a professional team in a creative work environment.

Amount

$5,000 per year as well as paid work experience with Bullock Consulting. It is expected that 12 weeks work should be available each year. Please note that the scholarship payment is not considered taxable income, however the work experience component is normally taxable.

Duration

Up to two years, subject to continuing good achievement (credit average) and satisfactory performance in the work placement.
