Qantas Tasmanian Devil Honours Scholarship

Qantas, the national airline, has provided funds to assist research into the facial tumour disease affecting Tasmanian devil populations.

Eligibility

Available to students in relevant disciplines interested in undertaking honours study into the cause and impact of the disease. Two scholarships are available.

Amount

$5,000. Additional research funding of up to $2,000 may apply.

Duration

One year

Closing Date

31 October 2009 for Semester 1 commencement, or 30 June 2010 for Semester 2 commencement. Applications for Semester 2 will open in April 2010.
