Dr Judith Homeshaw Scholarship
The late Dr Judith Homeshaw was a loved and respected member of staff in the UTAS School of Government. Family, friends, work colleagues and the Women’s Electoral Lobby have provided funds to create an annual scholarship in her name for a student entering an honours, masters or doctoral course at UTAS. The scholarship will support a student in any faculty whose thesis will relate to those areas which Judith was passionate about.
Eligibility
Available to a student undertaking postgraduate study in an area which is relevant to the following: Women's participation in the contemporary Australian public sphere with respect to any of: work and employment; government; politics; health care; science and/or Contemporary public policy in Australia with respect to any of: women; science; health care; policy community theory.
On-going Eligibility
To retain this award, recipients are required to achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester.
