If you have received an offer to attend the University of Tasmania then you will need to accept your offer by enrolling into subjects. To help you enrol, we strongly recommend that you attend an Enrolment Advice Day.
We want to help you make the right choices!
This day is designed to assist you with the enrolment process and provide an opportunity for you to familiarise yourself with the UTas campus and meet staff members. We want to help you be as well prepared as possible for the first year of your university career and plan your first year wisely.
The program will include:
- General Enrolment Information Session
- How to enrol
- How to read the timetable
- How to access the handbook on-line
- HECS and other fee matters
- Information on individual degree structures and how to choose your subjects
- Opportunity to talk to Sub-Deans and Faculty staff about your subject choices and obtain approval
- Campus tours including how to find lecture theatres
- Information about support services to help with your study, including careers counselling and
- Help with academic skills like essay writing, note-taking, exam skills or other learning issues
The University Course and Unit Handbook provides detailed subject information and it's recommended that you research your subjects before the day.
