The Diploma of Languages allows students to focus on learning to speak, read and write an Asian or European language, specifically:
- Chinese (H)
- French (H)
- German(H)
- Indonesian (H,L)
- Japanese (H,L)
Students can combine study in the diploma with study in a degree from another Faculty to enhance their career prospects.

Pass at first-year university level of the language of study or TCE Level 5C (HA or better) or equivalent.
