Career opportunities
|
The course prepares students for a career as a Marine Engineer officer. Engineering entrants need to obtain sponsorship with a shipping company as 'cadets'. The shipping company arranges periods of sea service between the academic sections of the course. Anyone wishing to take up a seagoing engineering career should therefore approach the various shipping companies with a view to obtaining sponsorship.
