READY FOR UNI WORKSHOPS
Ready for Uni is designed to assist you with understanding your offer, the steps you need to follow to manage your enrolment and prepare for commencement of
study. When you accept your offer you will be directed to the appropriate Ready for Uni option for your course. That may be the online version or you may be directed to the booking page for an on-campus workshop. The workshops will be available at the Hobart, Launceston or Cradle Coast campuses, and they will commence in October. The on-line version is available at http://www.utas.edu.au/enrol/readyforuni
TRANSITION SUPPORT SERVICE (STUDENT ADVISERS)
The role of the Transition Support Service is to assist you to adjust to university life and to help to resolve any issues that may be affecting your university studies. Student Advisers within the Transition Support Service offer individualised assistance to help you solve your problems or identify where you need to go for help with these issues. Student Advisers are located at various locations on both the northern and southern UTAS campuses, and specialise in different areas of study. Orientation Week (the week prior to the start of semester)
Your university year begins with Orientation Week. Attendance at orientation is essential for a smooth transition to university study and life. Information and programs will be available on the website at:www.firstyear.utas.edu.au/orientation

SCHOLARSHIPS
The University of Tasmania offers an extensive scholarship program that is open and accessible for all students regardless of background. There are over 2,000 individual scholarships available ranging from academic achievement to sporting ability, overseas travel to musical talent, and scholarships to assist with accommodation expenses. The scholarships program is open to commencing and current students, including those studying in honours and postgraduate programs. For information go to:www.utas.edu.au/scholarships.
